Dr. George Scordilis
Head Chiropractor
Dr. George C. Scordilis is a New York Chiropractic College graduate and has provided exceptional care to Passaic and Essex county residents for over 40 years. He has been active in the care of collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. Most recently, he was inducted into the USA Karate Hall of Fame as a team doctor, athlete, and pioneer. He was the first Chiropractor to be inducted into the USA Olympic Swim Medical Advisory group and has worked in Colorado Springs with the USA Junior National Swim Team. He continues to remain on the cutting edge of treatment with certifications in Impulse Adjusting technique, Graston Myofascial technique, KDT treatment of cervical and lumbar discs, Sports Injuries, and Functional Nutrition. He was also one of the pioneering Emergency Room Chiropractors with hospital privileges at Meadowlands Hospital.
Dr. George now focuses on caring for a wide range of health problems and the entire family. He has a vast knowledge base in treating many childhood disorders without drugs or surgery. He has traveled and presented nationally and internationally on topics including the care of athletes, pediatrics, and success principles. He continues to practice martial arts and is a 7th-degree black belt in Koei-Kan Karate-Do. While not in the office or dojo, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his 6 grandchildren.
Dr. Peter Scordilis
Head Chiropractor
Dr. Peter Scordilis is a 2002 graduate of Rutgers University and a 2005 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is excited to bring his passion for health and performance to the Bloomfield area through chiropractic. Dr. Scordilis has helped many athletes, from the weekend warrior to the elite, get through their injuries and perform at their best year-round. He can keep you on the road, the track, and the field using some of the newest treatment methods, from the shockwave and cold laser therapy and the Graston Myofascial technique to Kinesio Taping.
To this goal, Dr. Peter has attained certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through the ACBSP. He is also an avid triathlete, mountain biker, and snowboarder and is certified as a triathlon coach by USAT. Dr. Scordilis is available to speak to your local team or club on any number of topics, including those he has presented at national conventions and in his publications.
He is a husband and father to 3 beautiful and very active children, which makes him uniquely positioned to treat and understand a wide variety of pregnancy, breastfeeding, and pediatric issues.
Dr. Neal Shah
DPT
Dr. Neal Shah, DPT, is a North Jersey native & University of the Sciences Alumni, where he pursued his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His clinical experience is primarily in the orthopedic and sports setting. He has treated a wide variety of conditions ranging from the post-operative individual to the young athlete. He has also spent the past 5 years with a focus on spine-related injuries. He is a huge proponent of movement education and general wellness.
Neal has always believed in innovating physical therapy practice and joined a start-up company for virtual rehab to fill the gaps in rehab care. In his spare time, Neal enjoys exercising, playing basketball, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
